Altman, who graduated from University of Michigan Law School and had a thriving career as an attorney working at a Washington DC law firm, took a major career leap. She left law to pursue music full-time. Although music and being an artist was always her passion, she hesitated at first. “My head prevailed,” says Altman. “I told myself it was a silly dream and I had to take a more practical path and go to law school.”
